More Alike Than We Thought (Levi x Reader) 3

Chapter 3

I held up my fist and knocked on the door to Levi's office. My slim fingers rapped the door lightly. "Name and business." Said the cool voice from within the room. "It's (First)," You called back. "We need to talk."

"Oh, come in (First)."

You opened the door and closed it lightly behind you before you walked up to Levi and sat down on the chair in front of him. You pulled it forward so you could rest your elbows on his desk. He didn't seem to mind as he was pretty invested in writing up the Log report for the training session you just did.

You sat there looking at him, waiting for him to speak. Your eyes met for a brief moment as he looked up from his work and sighed loudly. "What do you want brat?" He asked completely deadpan. You looked him straight in the eye as you spoke, your voice never faltering. "Truth to a rumour I had heard about you."

"No (First), I don't sleep with the window cleaner." He replied immediately, bored and uninterested as to why you were sitting in his office. "Not that one, how would that even work, that seems like it would hurt a lot." Levi let out a very slight chuckle. "I don't fucking know, I didn't start it. I assume it was Hanji. What rumour do you want addressed?" He asked. Now you had peaked his interest, although he didn't even show it. "Go ahead I'm listening." He said taking a sip of the tea on his desk

Might as well just say it outright, you thought. "Hanji told me you have feelings for me." He choked and started coughing violently. You leaned over to him and smacked his square in the back reliving him of his cough in a swift motion.

"Hanji did what!?" He screamed, the deadpan facial expressions were gone and what looked like a Levi ready to kill every living thing in headquarters stood before you. He stood up from his desk and started pacing. You just stared at him in awe.

"I'm going to kill her! Strip that freak down to the bone and gargle on her-" You shook your head and rolled your eyes "Idiot." "Excuse me?" He screeched. You nonchalantly stood up and walked over to him, his eyes watched your every move. You leaned in close to his face. "I said," you grabbed onto his cravat. "Idiot." And you pressed your lips against his.

You felt him stiffen at first in surprise but them he relaxed and you pulled away from the kiss. "I called you and idiot." You repeated softly. He looked back at you his expression normal, even contented. "You keep going off about Hanji telling me but," You said with a grin and you made you way to the door.

"You never gave me the chance to tell you I felt the same way." You closed the door lightly behind you and walked back to your office and room with a smile. Little did you know, a smile was threatening to curse Levi's face as well.

Time skip

You were lying on your desk when you heard a knock at the door. Not even bothering to cover up the fact you weren't doing your work you called out "Come in." And too your surprise, but at the same time not, Levi entered, locking the door behind him.

You got up off the desk and met him halfway into the room, you opened your mouth to speak but you were cut off by Levi's mouth crushing into yours into a feverish kiss.

"Ompf!" You felt Levi's hands snake around your waist and you smiled into the kiss and the two of you walked awkwardly into the bedroom, lips never leaving yours.

You awoke to the bright sunlight filtering through the window above your bed. You looked through bleary eyes at the sleeping figure of Levi next to you, his hair was tousled and his mouth was open slightly giving him that perfect sleeping face

You move slightly from his grip to try and escape before he woke up but no such luck. Levi had a tight grip on your hips and when you stirred him with your attempted escape, he pulled you back to himself. Trying to regain whatever dream he had.

"Levi." You told him gently. "It's time to get up."

He groaned against the skin on your back and squeezed his eyes shut. "C'mon!" He grunted unenthusiastically, but let you go. You dragged yourself out of bed and put on a clean uniform. You draped your cloak over you shoulders and fixed your hair into a neat military bun.

In the meantime Levi had gone to his room and changed before coming back to your room to watch you tackle your hair. He crept up behind you and snaked his arms around your waist, pulling you close to him.

You stayed like that for a while, Levi resting his head in the crook of your neck and you feeling his heart beat against your back. He kissed your cheek, breaking the silence and pulled you out your door by your hand.

When the two of you walked into the mess hall, people stared and fingers pointed at you two, the way your hands were laced together and the way the two of you sat close to each other at the squad leader table.

You turned and smiled at Hanji who waved enthusiastically at you from across the room. Life was now complete for you.

Unknown to you, a stranger was watching through the window, the unicorn of the military police on his back he stepped away from the light and into the shadows, to deliver what he saw.
